UDK is too big and heavy!... Well, I&amp;#39;d argue no, it&amp;#39;s as lean as you want it to be. A toolset is just a toolset. I keep hearing people talking about game narrative interfering with game mechanics, and how the &amp;quot;game&amp;quot; part is hurting the &amp;quot;art&amp;quot; part as if the narrative were the only artistic component to the game. The rules are the way the artist guides and manipulates the player&amp;#39;s experience. The rules are the only unique thing that games have that film doesn&amp;#39;t.
